Dr Adrian Sciberras
FCCA, MIA, CPA, LL.B.(Hons)(Melit.), M. Adv (Melit.)
FOUNDER AND CEO | CPA AND ADVOCATE
Dr Adrian Sciberras, FCCA, MIA, CPA, LL.B.(Hons)(Melit.), M. Adv (Melit.), founder and business partner of Fairwinds Management Limited, is a certified public accountant, entrepreneur and advocate. Dr Sciberras brings over years of experience in the accountancy field and in helping clients achieve business success. He is an all-rounder in the financial and property sectors. He gained his Accounting degree in 2003 whilst working in the private sector and then moved onto setting up his own businesses in 2009. Later in 2018, he graduated in law with an LL.B.(Hons)(Melit.) and completed a Master of Advocacy degree the following year, in 2019. He then furthered law practice with an established local law firm, leading him to become a warranted lawyer in 2020.
He is a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in the UK and speaks fluently Maltese, English and Italian.
M.Acc, MIA, Cert.Tax, CPA
Joceline Caruana, M.Acc, MIA, Cert. Tax, CPA, is an accountant and tax specialist and brings her expertise to Fairwinds Management Limited in the corporate and tax fields. Joceline graduated from the University of Malta with a Masters in Accountancy and continued her studies soon after with the Professional Certificate in Taxation. She headed the incorporation team at Fairwinds Management Limited, being responsible for incorporations, management and renewal of companies and tax compliance, while gradually increasing the level of services in order to expand the company.
Joceline is a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants and Malta Institute of Taxation and she speaks fluently Maltese, English and Italian while also having an elementary knowledge of the French language.
FCCA, MIA, CPA
Conrad Meli, FCCA, MIA, CPA, is a Certified Public Accountant with years of experience in the accounting industry. As a Director, he oversees the Accounting Department and is responsible in ensuring that the regulatory frameworks and company policies are adhered to. He is also responsible in maintaining positive and trust-based relations with clients and stakeholders.
Conrad constantly sets targets to reach goals within stipulated timeframes, and any pressure encountered during such periods gets him motivated to continue growing as an individual within the company.
Conrad, who describes himself as being results-oriented, is also a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and a Member of the Malta Institute of Accountants. He speaks fluently in Maltese, English and Italian.
Analee Debattista, our Corporate Executive, brings with her fifteen years of experience in a number of areas, mainly shipping and purchasing, HR and recruitment. At Fairwinds Management Limited, she continues to expand her knowledge in the corporate world as she mostly works on company incorporations, bank account applications, residency permits, work permits as well as Visa applications.
While further assisting clients in the best possible way, Analee focuses on her career goal, that of continuing to learn and grow professionally.
Angela Camilleri is one of our Accounts Executives. She joined the accounting team in 2016 shortly after she commenced her employment with the company as an Office Administrator.
Her current role carries out various responsibilities which fit her meticulous and organised character. She is responsible of updating and maintaining accounts of clients while submitting all required documentation related to their respective business. These include VAT and tax returns, MicroInvest Certificate applications, management accounts and payroll.
Angela holds an ACCA Diploma Certificate, and aiming at becoming a fully qualified accountant; she is currently pursuing the ACCA degree. She is fluent in Maltese and English languages.
JUNIOR CORPORATE ADMINISTRATOR
Charlene Zammit is a Junior Corporate Administrator at Fairwinds Management Limited. Her duties focus on assisting existing and new clients meet Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance obligations.
Before joining our team, Charlene worked in different sectors. She spent fifteen years running a family business, while also being involved in the construction industry. A further five years were spent working in the hospitality industry, including one year working in the United Kingdom.
In 2005, she obtained a Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management from the Institute of Tourism Studies. Charlene is fluent in Maltese, English and Italian languages.
Dona Rapinett, Credit Controller, has over ten years of experience in the accounting field. She started off her career as an Accounts Clerk and moved on to the position of a Credit Controller. She joined Fairwinds Management Limited in 2016 and has since then been responsible for executing company payments and bank reconciliations. In addition to this, she processes monthly payrolls, manages debt collection and financial reporting.
Throughout the past years, Dona was awarded a Diploma Level 3 in AAT, a Diploma in Credit Management as well as a Foundation Certificate in ACCA. Her career goal is that of obtaining the ACCA qualification, so she is currently furthering her knowledge through ACCA studies.
Dona is fluent in Maltese and English, and also has a good understanding of Italian language.
Dr Kendrick Chircop L.L.B (Hons.) M.Adv (Melit.)
Dr Kendrick Chircop, L.L.B (Hons.) M.Adv (Melit.), started off his professional career at the Law Courts where he carried out his apprenticeship and had the opportunity to follow several cases in various sectors. He further practiced law in different firms until he received his warrant in October 2018.
He then joined Fairwinds Management Limited as a Corporate Lawyer where apart from addressing clients’ corporate needs such as drafting of agreements, company incorporations, share transfers and trademark registrations, both on a local and EU level, occasionally he also works on Court cases.
Kendrick’s goal is to continue developing his skills and keep learning while keeping abreast with the ever changing Maltese laws.
Mila Rogovic is the company’s receptionist. She is a High School graduate in Economics Science and brings with her over 10 years experience in administration.
Her tasks revolve around the day-to-day running of the office by taking care of office correspondence,filing, office and kitchen supplies, and greeting our clients and guests, amongst others, while ensuring that every colleague feels comfortable at the office.
Mila’s ongoing goal is to keep on working to improve her skills and continue excelling in her job.
Mila is fluent in Serbian and English languages.
Muhammad Umar ACCA, B.Com
Muhammad Umar, ACCA, B.Com is one of the qualified Accountants within the team with over 5 years’ experience in accountancy in different business sectors.
He concluded his ACCA studies in 2014 and continued furthering his studies to become a Certified Public Accountant. His career goal is that of becoming a tax expert.
Among his daily tasks, he creates and develops efficient client accounting procedures, prepares management accounts and liaises with the auditor, prepares VAT returns and carries out VAT computations while communicating with authorities and ensuring that the company is compliant with all requirements.
Muhammad is fluent in English, Urdu and Punjabi languages.
PRIVATE CLIENTS ADMINISTRATOR
Olga Mifsud, who joined our company in March 2016, comes along with years of experience in the hospitality industry and administration sector.
Olga graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Management in 2012 from the Institute of Tourism Studies in Malta. She gained her experience in customer service, business communication and account handling through working in high-end properties of international hotel brands.
In addition to her administrative skills gained throughout the years of managing an office within this group of companies, her strong skills include researching, planning, and coordinating. Olga speaks fluently in English and Russian.
Rebecca Gatt, an Administrative Assistant, graduated with a Higher National Certificate in IT from the Malta College of Arts Science and Technology. Following her studies, she started working in the retail industry, gaining administration, supervisory and customer-orientation skills that allowed her to move to grow professionally and move to an office environment.
A major part of Rebecca’s work is dealing with local and foreign clients, assisting them in anything related to administration services.
Rebecca speaks fluently Maltese and English and has also basic working knowledge of the Italian and French languages.
Rebecca Toutoungi B.Comms (Hons)
Rebecca Toutoungi has over seven years of experience in the field of communications, media and marketing. She graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Communications (Hons) in 2013. Later in 2019, she was awarded a Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing by Digital Marketing Institute.
Her role within the company is dynamic as it involves both traditional and digital marketing. This includes regular updating of social media platforms and websites, content creation, and branding, while organising team events.
She is fluent in Maltese and English and has also basic knowledge of Italian language.
Sandra Borg joined our team in 2016 and is one of our Accounts Executives. Her daily responsibilities include taking care of a portfolio of clients and supporting them with bookkeeping, filing of VAT and tax returns. She also prepares accounts for audits and assists auditors with any queries while advising clients.
Sandra is in possession of an Advanced Diploma in Accounting. She is eager to learn and is currently furthering her studies in order to fulfil her career goal, that of becoming a fully qualified accountant. In fact, she is currently in her final stages of completing ACCA. Meanwhile, she is also reading a Diploma in VAT.
She is fluent in Maltese and English languages.
Sajid Iqbal ACCA
Sajid Iqbal, ACCA, is one of the qualified Accountants with over four years of work experience in this sector.
As an accountant, he has various responsibilities and performs a number of tasks including analysis and preparation of accounts, providing financial advice to clients in various business sectors, and examining statements to ensure accuracy.
Sajid, who joined our team in 2017 is an ACCA Member.
He is fluent in Urdu and English languages.
JUNIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
Shania Galea is a Junior Accounts Executive within our team with two years experience in the business sector. She is in possession of an AAT certificate and is currently studying ACCA to pursue her career goal of becoming a qualified accountant.
Her day-to-day job as a Junior Accounts Executive includes bookkeeping, preparation of payroll, and handling VAT and tax returns, amongst other tasks while ensuring that all deadlines are met.
Shania is fluent in Maltese and English and understands Italian language.
Sheila Sanz Rincon
Sheila Sanz Rincon is the Corporate Administrator at Fairwinds Management Limited. Her day to day duties revolve around preparation of Malta company setup documentation, company renewals and other administration tasks which she loves doing as she becomes familiar with how company structures change. This provides her with the opportunity to focus and improve her skills and knowledge in the corporate world.
Prior to joining a corporate services provider, Sheila worked in the administration sector, a sector which she focused her studies on upon finishing High School in Spain and later in Malta too. She also studied Italian language in Florence, Italy. In fact, apart from speaking Spanish fluently, she also speaks Italian and English, while also having knowledge of French.
JUNIOR ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
Teresa Merza is a Junior Accounts Executive with many years of work experience in different business sectors prior to joining Fairwinds Management Limited accounting team.
Teresa’s role within the company focuses on the preparation of assets, liabilities, and capital account entries. This is done by compiling and analysing account information of the clients that are assigned to her. She is eager to gain more knowledge about her field of work to become an expert in her field.
Teresa is fluent in Tagalog and English languages.
